Set of standard size simple wooden Shogi tiles half with red and half with black traditional Japanese markings; traditional standard size `greaseproof` paper board, 28.5x23.5cm, in a sturdy plastic storage box, 9x9x4.5cm. Genuine Japanese product.

This set of Shogi Koma are made of wood and use traditional Japanese markings. Half in red and half in black, although a colour difference between the opposing sides is not fundamental to the game as in the case of Western Chess.

These markings, known as karagana, are those found in the normal 'how to play' books.

This special edition Settlers of Catan board game will include all the components needed to play Settlers of Catan, and Cities & Knights for 3-4 players.

This edition will feature three dimensional hand painted tiles made of dense heavyweight resin and a complete interlocking border. Each player will have a complete set of hand painted settlements, cities, metropoli, city walls, knights and roads.

The special wood case is designed to keep your set safe and will feature a special slotted level with felt lined slots to hold each hex. A wooden tray to hold pieces for play and storage.

Players are recent immigrants to the newly populated island of Catan. Expand your colony through the building of settlements, roads, and villages by harvesting commodities from the land around you. Trade sheep, lumber, bricks and some grain for a settlement, bricks and wood for a road, or try to complete other combinations for more advanced buildings, sevices and specials. Trade with other players, or at local seaports to get resources you might lack. The first player to achieve 10 points from a combination of roads, settlements, and special cards wins.
